matisse was a french sculptor and painter who deied nearly 60 years ago and at that time evrrybody in portugal knew him damn well!nearly 100 years ago at salon d´hiver a paris with his fellow fauves was a scandale and theire art wasen´t tought at any world school and all portuguese livbraies have books that talk about its art
